Y’all, there’s so much happening. I want to talk about health care, and the procedural ruin that is happening in our Congress, and the broader failure of the underlying structure of representative democracy in this country, and Jared Kushner’s SF-86, and how horribly terrifying the situation with North Korea seems, and the spate of recent articles suggesting that Russia has hacked U.S. power grids, and the Kobach voter commission which is leading people to unregister to vote (!), and and and and and and …
…but alas it turns out grad school is really hard and time-consuming, so I have to pick and choose. Here’s what I’m focusing on this time.
- The Wall Begins to Crumble: Notes on Collusion (Lawfare)
- Also check out The Russia Connection tag on Lawfare; I especially suggest reading this post as well as this one.

As I’ve said before, I am a big fan of ProPublica:
I’m putting a little plug in here: you can sign up for their weekly update at http://go.propublica.org/weekly. My favorite article of theirs this week: “Trump Lawyer Marc Kasowitz Threatens Stranger in Emails: ‘Watch your back, bitch’.”
